Who wrote this ♥♥♥♥?

To anyone considering buying this game, DON'T

The story and the quests are garbage that i can't force myself to care for. In BL2 i would beat the whole main story every time a friend got the game, and it would never get boring. Why? Because i cared for the characters that were all unique with a right balance of comedy and seriousness. Hell even in BL1 even though it was scuffed i cared way more about the characters and the universe than in BL3.

This game has some liberal arts undergrad tier writing which makes me cringe non-stop. The characters and the story are so quirky and cookie you almost feel like you're playing Tumblr: The Game. Loved characters from previous games got butchered and/or have little importance to the story. Remember how cool it was to reunite with BL1 gang in BL2? Wellll ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make sum place for muh self-inserts!

I finally uninstalled without finishing the game. What a waste to everyone who worked on gameplay.

TL;DR: Game has no soul, so unless you have Tik Tok tier attention span and can't follow a story anyway, steer clear.

It's a looter shooter, you don't play this game for the story. The gun play in this game is very good. Maybe you should have read the reviews before you bought this game and would have already known this? Play L.I.S. if you want a story............

How to tell someone you have low standards without saying it explicitly. BL1 and BL2 had both good gameplay and story, why do you accept that this game has ♥♥♥♥ story?

I bought the game for cheap, VERY cheap to the point i knew i wouldn't care if it was garbage. I'm a huge fan of the other entries so i wanted to give it a try regardless. I couldn't believe it was that bad, but it is.

Yeah it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but I'm surprised you didn't know that already, 4 years later, despite being a "huge fan". Unless you saw it on release, saved the game for yourself or just suppressed it lol

I didn't watch any gameplay, trailer or followed drama. I waited a long time so that my friends (oh wow, friends??? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what's that right?) who were interested in this game were all ready. If you feel like this level of patience is impossible, i feel bad for you.

I am part of a dying breed that actually enjoys fresh content instead of getting 75% of a movie or game spoiled by watching trailers or drama tubers covering it. I know, takes a lot of patience and dedication, which naturally comes with high attention span.

Well thankfully you don't get to control what people buy.

I do suggest anyone considering buying this game to research it a bit first as there are aspects some find controversial. But don't buy it or not because some random person on the internet said so.

People will still buy the game and some will even enjoy it regardless of what you say.

You don't like it, fair enough. Giving critique on why you feel the game missed the mark and may not be for some, also fair.

But in the end, we each chose what we enjoy. I myself despite the faults in the game, still enjoy playing BL3. I do hope they do better in the next installment (if it happens).

So correct, you will not dictate my life. Games I play, the refusal of eating tires, etc. are my choice not dictated by you. Perhaps you should get over yourself that our lives don't revolve around you.

1 barely had a narrative and the shooting aged like milk. While BL3 narrative is bad the gameplay and other additions make it far better to play over 1.

The game is still worth buying. Everything is good except the story. If you can look past the story you're golden. If you can't, well, look elsewhere :D
