Will BL3 DLC in my Epic Games savefile transfer?
I'm planning on getting BL3 on Steam and transfer my save file from Epic Games. I know transferring the base game will work, but will my DLC content transfer as well? I have bought all DLC when it went on a summer sale.

I guess to make the question more complicated, I haven't really started any of the DLC storylines or been to any DLC locations, but I have received a diamond key and have DLC weapons from it due to Director's Cut. So will my DLC stuff be removed?

whats the point of getting it now on steam when you have it on epic with all dlc? Performance is the same and coop works with both plattforms together.

Epic and Steam, treat it like Xbox and Playstation. Your games and downloads do not transfer as they are separate platforms and competitors.

However as they are both on PC, then normally you can copy your save file.

Up to you if you want to buy that all twice on your computer.

yes you can just copy the save but it will not work with dlc items, if he get the game on steam without the dlc. Thats why i ask it dosent make any sence to get the game without dlc here and have it on epic with them. Unless the reason is something completely different that shouldn't really be asked here.

If he got the game with DLC of course.

But buying it on another platform doesn't make sense. Unless they realized how sub-standard Epic is and decided to cut bait and run.

Come on guys - don't be so mean to him :P
Since BL3 came out of the crepic-Beta we always had these posts from people wanting to switch over to Steam (but not the other way around). Playing on crepic had a few more network and other problems (who knows why).

Anyways - your items and everything WILL transfer - but you need to buy all the DLCs on Steam to be able to use items/skills that come from the DLC.

Oh and:

The official guide on how to transfer your save-files from crepic to steam :) even 2K knew that people dont like crepic

hey all thanks!

really the only reason I would want to is because I just think shift+tabbing is really handy and it's literally just nine dollars. i have money.

But it's not worth buying the DLC again, soooooo yeah I'll just stick to Epic. Thanks for the help!

The shift +tab first sounds nice. But in reality if you play bl3 with steam overlay on, you got more problems as without

copy your shift ID over from epic to steam via ingame. You should recover keys etc but you will have to start at level 1. i did this 3 months ago when i uninstalled epic as its a terrible app.
