I suggest you do the DLCs after the Main story due to difficulty as well as they are seperate from the main story

storywise, the jackpot and bounty of blood dlcs has very little relevance to b3 main story. you can try doing jackpot and BoB contents for a few hours to see how difficult the enemies in there compared to vanilla b3.

The dlc won't scale to level until you finish the main story, if you start it at let's say level 20 it will be level 20 even after you hit level 30.

ive started them (accepted quests) at lvl 10, im about to finish the main campaign at lvl 45, does this mean ill be over-leveled for the whole duration of dlc?

no they are a pre-set lvl for the dlc's due to them being added for after the main campaign

No once you finish the main story the dlc will scale to your level.

huh. i guess its similar to b2 dlc level scaling in normal and tvhm. back before uvhm and any +level caps came out, many b2 guides recommend finishing main story in tvhm lvl 50 so that all quest rewards and enemies in vanilla b2 and dlcs will scale to lvl 50 or whatever max lvls after +lvl cap from some dlcs.

one reason to do the dlc after the main story is that every time you complete a side quest, the game always defaults the active mission back to the main story mission ans then you have to manually switch it back tomthe dlc mission you are woking on. .

however, the dlcs have some of the best weapons in the game, better than stuff that drops from main story
but then again, you probably shouldn't be farming for gear in earnest until level 72 mayhem 11 and tou heedmto beat the main story for that

also, some side missions and other features don't become available until main story is completed.
certain side paths on maps don't open up until completing certain main story missions.

my opinions

the best thing to do is focus on main story, ignoring all side content until main story is complete.

which is anathema to how i normally play games, whenever i fire up an elder scrolls or fallout, i immediately go off to the side and get distracted for the next 200 hours and see i barely touched the main story.

this game actively discouraged that playstyle
