Wait! Wut? Skullmasher actually sucks the big one?
I have a "God-tier" Jacobs Iron-Willed Bowie Skullmasher and it totally sucks on Moze...it's a piece of sh!t compared to her Plasma Coil SMG! I am truly confused. Ima hang onto it, though...maybe one of the other VH's can use it. >.>

Make sure you're not using it as a traditional sniper rifle. In BL3 it is more like a shotgun. So close to mid range, depending on the pellet spread.

Beyond that, level of weapon compared to character and mobs. And of course character build to optimize it.

Being "God-tier" doesn't mean you are setup to make full use of it.

Right. When you compare them to the best-in-slot, most of the "legendary" weapons are vendor-food as far as I'm concerned. I had a really good sniper when Moze was around level 30, or so...Epic gun that fired a triple-burst that would kill basic trash at very long distances; I can't remember the name of it, though. >.>

Nope, it was just a regular purple epic...I doubt that it would pack the same punch at mayhem 11, though, but it was fun while it lasted. 'One shot, one kill' is what I'm looking for; I might have to find a mod that'll let me do that in Borderlands 3, though. :D

Better off not playing mayhem then. Most 1 shot builds to my knowledge barely use snipers. That’s said flak is great with them.

The Skullmasher works great on Amara using The Ties that Bind skill. You are able to one shot groups of enemies.
