After seeing your post I downloaded the Redux mod as I had earlier read about it but never tried it out.
Anyway the instructions said that I needed to install the hotfix web merger which also required two other files.
A dll and visual C runtime which I proceeded to download and install.
Dragging the dll file and a plugin folder to the indicated spot where BL3 is installed.
Then putting the hotfix merger files in the plugin folder.
The instructions stated that i should start the game and at the appropriate time click on a new icon in the tray (Borderlands 3 Hotfix Modding) that starts the hotfix web merger and browse to a mod file.
As I had downloaded and placed the mod file in a folder on my pc I used the Add Local Path menu item in the web merger program to set the file location and everything worked OK when I continued loading the game.
