First Play Through - Review + Replay Value ?

So. I play a lot competitive FPS games. for the most part any game i play is multiplayer.
I do co-op with friends for the fun and casual pick up of titles. anyhow. i had never played borderlands before. most single player or co-op games dont interest me, actually I heard about it through the music and artists working on it. Wasn't my cup of tea (or so i thought) anyway I got the free version on EMG played 2 characters (flakk and zane) i restarted at level 10 on both characters, my friend jumped on and we played from level 0 again i chose to push on with zane. around level 18 my friend took some time away and i couldn't wait idly by, played through till the end of rhys ball and that quest line when I saw a 90% off sale on steam so i thought why not. brought the ultimate bundle for like $30. copied my character over from EMG and proceeded to GAUNTLET it, few late nights pounding the content.
got a good 20 hours now. thoroughly enjoyed it. the music / sound track was dope. the cameo's from ICE T and a few others their names escape me, the science girl from bigbangtheory lol. anyway the dialogue had me wanting more, the story / cut scenes were top notch. the carefree not so serious but hilarious no holds barred content is awesome. KILL ALL THE MALIWAN GUYS!!. feels bad for Tyreen though. anyway MAYHEM
I guess theres lots more stuff to do in the DLCs and stuff that comes with ULTIMATE bundle. I think i've picked up a quest to do some gay wedding. but i put it on mayhem level 2 for LOLS. lucky i just switch to broken rocket launcher and clone myself while spitting out endless grenades and slam spawn homing rockets. its a bit nuts. =)

anyway. hows the replay value on this game?
are there leader boards or something to make it worth getting the sick loot?
if u have the gear but nothing to use it on..?

Visuals - the style and lore lends to be loved or loathed, took me some time but i love it.
nicely optimized too. needs some fsr
Audio - Blastin. perfect if u have a killer sound system. great artists and song placement aswell. had some weird audio occlusion thing happening, I changed it to proheadset (even though i just have a arctis pro) the behind/infront rotating sound was fine after that.
Bugs - Glitches - Crashes (none that were the games fault, everything worked out of the box, had a few weird laser scoped enemies have a tracking/laser bug on me til i changed map? )

all and all. value for money A+, would trade again.
i'll be lookin out for the next one.

You should probably give BL2 a try too. BL1 is still good but it really shows it's age. TPS is alright if you really liked BL2 and just want something a bit different.

I highly recommend playing Borderlands 2, easily the best Borderlands games and imo one of the best games of all time. BL3 doesn't really reach the same quality bar as BL2.

Don't play this game lol. Honestly I'm just finishing the coop plat run since friend made me do it but honestly. Borderlands is the most overrated and boring series of games I've ever played. Missions are boring, there's no difficulty and gameplay is dull.

OP already has, but if your playing a game you don't care for just for achievements not sure what I can tell you. Stick to games you enjoy?
