Not so much with BL3. They have moved on to other projects.
Base game and Season Pass 1 covers the bulk of actual content. So with a good sale like now, people don't have to wait for a GOTY that has everything under the sun. Being patient is one thing, but waiting years is not reasonable for many.
Season Pass 2, well the 4th Skill Tree is very nice. But I agree needs a very good sale if that is all you're going for out of that.
Same. I refunded this awhile ago when it was much more expensive after an hour of being unable to make up my mind on a character and reading builds and finally killing the game before the timer ran out.
Now it's too late to refund, game doesn't run great on my 10 year old desktop but it's playable. I think I'm going to like FL4K after reading a few build guides for him, stealth + pets is cool.
This game doesn't require some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 3rd party malware launcher, that alone is rare enough to be commended at this point. The pricing is insane, but I've read TTWO's 10Ks, they have the highest grossing gaming franchise in history (they own Rockstar and GTA, in addition to 2K and Borderlands) so that's not a surprise (but having played all of the previous games, I knew how this would go price/bundle wise. I've been patient enough to wait it out, I'm not a 20 year old kid, and I have limited time to play anyway).
Very solid entry into the franchise.
I remember a time when a full game at release was in that 20 bucks price range. And there was one (good!) Addon a year later (for less than the base game, of course)
Gamegear is especially nasty in their DLC bullshittery. Adds 1% more "content" and take 33-50% of the base games price for it.
You mean Atari games ? $20 dollars in 1980 adjusted for inflation would be $72 dollars in todays money... I cant recall getting a full release non sale game for $20 bucks in the 90s or 00s. At least not in Canada.
