How do I delete save files

goto this location your save files are of the form xxxx.sav

Just create a new character and good to go. You can even turn off the perks from your other characters if you want to be a clean slate.

Do you use Steam to back up your saved games? If you do, deleting won't help as Steam will load from Cloud Save into your saves folder.

If you just want to start a new player without deleting, you just create a new player.

If you want to delete older saves, just go to the game menu to delete them one by one.

These do not delete your profile. Some of the items will remain. If you want to start as new, you need to have a Save Editor for the profile.
