Lucian's Call is a little OP
So for those of you that don't know. Lucian's Call is a Vladof Assault Rifle with a very high fire rate, and its unique trait is that a critical hit restores 2 rounds to the magazine. Yet it only uses one ammo per shot. This means if you sustain critical hits, you will literally have infinite ammo.

This might not seem like much. But in my case I found a way to abuse this. Basically as Zane if you setup your build so you can freeze enemies with critical hits, you can pretty much freeze the enemy you're shooting, walk straight up to them so it's impossible to miss, and then just spray them down and get a free kill. This might not seem like much either, but I forgot to mention that it also ricochets bullets when you get critical hits towards other enemies. This makes the enemy you're killing essentially into a conduit of damage.
Pair that with the Rico shield, and now you're both reflecting 50-80% of the bullets hitting you, and also dealing damage the entire time you hose down the enemy.

Needless to say, this was very potent in practice. Especially considering I got the "Pearl of Ineffable Knowledge" artifact, so after 15 consecutive hits damage is increased by 90%. This completely melts every enemy around you due to the high fire rate and already relatively high base damage. My variant of the rifle also had corrosive damage. I am unsure if that's a default, but due to this, my other skill that applies a random status effect when you apply a status effect basically causes every enemy to get melted. I also heal from shooting frozen enemies. So essentially, you're near invincible as well.

I cannot remember every single perk that plays into this as of now. I would need to make a video. But basically, this setup is by far the best I've found so far on Zane. At level 72, it makes most enemies die as if they were only level 65.

Vladof weapons are my favorite. I've been running with Lucian's Call too with Speedloadin' Hellwalker as my close range response. I didn't follow a build, I just did what made sense since a quick look at his abilities tells you Zane's playstyle centers around movement speed, cryo, healing, and his clone for soloing. However yeah, I literally just run circles around them while slowing them, healing, and blowing apart anything that comes close while my clone insta-kills everything with the hellwalker. It has 48,000x10 damage and his base gun damage is increased 60% consuming a grenades for almost 770,000 damage per shot if every shell hits. That's without kill skills factored in too. With those factored, the clone can deal around a million damage with the hellwalker per shot. I slow enemies and he obliterates them. Late game Zane is op and reminds me of playing Doom, I love it. <3
