Blood Drive Bug?

I am trying to enter Carnavora Festival. I park my ride in the highlighted area to go to the chop shop. I press the button to start the conveyor belt. The gate comes down on my ride causing it to glitch out and not go through the chop shop, the game shows that I have completed this process. Yet, the gate barring entrance to the next area is still active, and not allowing me to enter.

I have quit out of the game several times. Quick traveled to other parts of the planet and returned back. All with no success. Can anyone help?

are you using the golden chariot?

No. I don't even know what that is.

Just follow the quest markers. You'll find a COV-area with a semi-boss and after killing him, you'll be able to retrieve the golden chariot. Drive this one to the Carnavora and they'll admit you.

If Golden Chariot is destroyed en route to gate, it can be respawned at any catch-a-ride.
