read only program that joltz uses?

Read-only is a file property that means the file can't be changed. To make a file like that: Right click > Properties > Click the box next to Read-only > Apply. Same process to reverse the changes.

i know how it works and read only for borderlands 3 actually requires an extra step to truly make it read only. i was only asking about the program someone made to make this process easier for me.

you don't need a program just change the file properties in windows

no i don't need a program for it, but it just makes it more convenient for read only farming.

Keep the file open behind the game, alt tab, change properties, play game

As far as I know Joltzdude uses (or at least used) CptnFooFoo's Save game write protector for a decent while.

It doesn't work if I post the download link here, so get it from the description below the video.

I don't know if it was the same location that I got it from last year, so I downloaded it and compared the zip file with the original. The SHA256 sums are the same, so I can reasonably assume that they are the same files.

Anyway, I use this program a lot with other BL games, but I haven't got it to work properly with BL3. I don't do read-only farming often in BL3, so I just set the file properties manually instead.
