(Spoilers) Rhys Mustache Rewards

I'm wondering what reward/s you get if you choose to say you like it.
I read about one thing you get if you say you don't. While I do want to collect as much as possible, for as long as I'm interested in playing this game, I do like his 'stache. Which is odd because I generally have an aversion to people with them. But he looks good with it.

I know if you choose you don't like it he removes his mustache and you get a "mustache trinket". I've never seen it, but I know it's a thing but if I get an extra reward one way, but not the other, it's hard to say the choice that gets me fewer rewards.

Edit: Ninja'd. So it seems like one way you get Atlas icon trinket, and the other you get the mustache shaped trinket.

2nd question: Are "trinkets" shared among all characters on my account? Or do I need to collect them again with every character?
