Legendary drop rate now :/

Well... the new annointment system is cool and all...

BUT, what am I going to use there if I can't drop a single legendary! not even in M10 or M11
Jesus Christ, this is insane how low it got now.
Anyone having this issue as well?

The issue is mayhem scaling, hardly any other rarity does the damage some legendaries do on mayhem 10. It’s been an issue since mayhem 2.0 was introduce and still is as most legendaries still aren’t that good on mayhem 10, so nerf drops where it’s unrewarding and you still need legendaries to kill things.

Perhaps Gearbox could up the stat variety so, rarely, lower class guns could compete.

If they did that from the start they wouldn’t have to keep buffing damage on them based on feedback. That tells me they’ll never be able to balance anything with scaling.

Well said, I agree completely...I spent all day and evening on farming Agonizer 9000 for Backburner Rocket launchers and Swift Damned Vladov assault rifles, let's just say I am not done, This is supposed to be Fun. What happened to "Shoot and Loot"?

bruh, i killed agonizer for 3 hours straight, not one backburner, which is funny because gearbox swears boss loot table drop rates are not affected, only world drops, but ok, sure, probably just a bad farming night. But then I was trying to get a radiation monarch from killavolt, and after 4 hours farming him, I got 1 monarch, and it was non-elemental. Cool, well, maybe I just have bad luck....But then I was farming warden, trying for plaguebearer, and I at least got 2, out of a 3 hour farming session, and arms race? Holy ♥♥♥♥ no Tizzys in 3 days..........


At least the artifact/class mods are showing up in proving grounds for me. And I did get a super shredifier tonight doing circle of slaughter, which is rad. But damn, I thought bosses were untouched, I'm getting more world drops from bosses since the hotfix, but I don't know if my dedicated drops are bugged or if my luck is just awful, but this is really brutal. I need a little more reward from all the trash mobs in this game though, like, on M11 it is unreal how much work you gotta put in sometimes, and with the amount of trash legendaries there are in the game, it's really becoming a slog to even play, at least the legendary drops felt like there was an actual pull of the slot machine lever when you cleared out enemies, now it really feels like there's no reason to do anything but boss farm. I guess since class mods and artifacts don't scale I'm being stupid doing proving grounds on m11, but I like the challenge WITH a reward for it, the world drops provided that, it was at least a chance at something for the effort you put in.. Now, not so much.

Well I have been farming Killavolt today and he has been dropping monarchs today, I only play in mayhem 10 as mayhem 11 is 50% penalized because there are no difficult modifiers in it so if you do mayhem 10 they will drop for you. The drop rate is definitely very low when it comes to world drops but since the patch on April 22nd/2021 the boss farming is more where it should be. Agonizer 9000 dropped me the backburners I wanted and the Swift damned as well so, I am still not happy with the world drops but at least farming on Mayhem 10 level 65 is finally giving me the drops I have been hoping for again. And to itchyY if you still need a nuclear monarch I have 3 now so if you want one message me and I will give you one.

Though drop rate is lower than before, I've no problem (at M10), getting Tizzy, Boogeyman, Dark Army, Torrent, etc. Class Mods and Exceptional Dark Army++ are AR's rarest drops.

I always try and say that people need to farm at Mayhem 10 NOT Mayhem 11, Mayhem 11 is penalized by 50% automatically due to not having any difficult modifiers, so if you actually want nice legendary gear then stop wasting your time with Mayhem, 11 and only farm on Mayhem 10... Since the patch on April 22nd/2021 the bosses are dropping what they should be, I got all 6 flavours of monarchs today that I was wanting, which 5 were nuclear, 3 were corrosive, 2 were shock, 4 were fire, 7 were ice and 15 straight up non elemental ones and that took about 5 hours straight to get the exact ones I was looking for as I am very picky, then went to the Agonizer 9000 and got all 5 flavours of Backburners and all 6 flavours of swift Damned which took about 4 and a half hours..So again try MAYHEM 10, you will get what you want, just takes a little longer then before, but still definitely worth the time and effort. At least now it is after the most recent patch...

LOL, it is tough, but the right gear and right build can crush bosses like crazy. I use a Moze build when I want to farm that I made myself, without the aid of all the online builds out there to go by, and it crushes everything in its path with relative ease. I have my Iron Bear with vanquisher rocket pods on each side and it obliterates all bosses and the new raid boss. Most bosses take seconds to trash literally. It is perfect for farming. Fast and effective, very efficient use of your time...When I am just playing the game, actual quests, then I either use my Zane build or my Amara build, it is definitely tougher playing mayhem 10 with those two characters, but with great risk comes great reward, HOPEFULLY...

Not really, if you have proper weapons. How many combos have you tried?
The 2 easiest (least game-changing) Medium and Hard modifiers are Healy Avenger and Drone Ranger, respectively, leaving you with only a Very Hard to select.

Worth mentioning mayhem 11 currently is the same drop rate as m10, confirmed by gearbox. It will be fixed eventually though
