Captain Traunt TOO MUCH HP BUG

I am playing with my friend on Mayhem 10 and killing everyone pretty easily with unique legendaries and then we came to Athenas' boss, Cpt. Traunt. He's not hard, he's impossible. No i'm not saying his HP is going down very slowly, his hp isn't moving even a little. We thought this can be a bug and tried decreasing Mayhem level to see what will gonna happen. On Mayhem 5, his HP is going down very slowly, yes very slowly with our Mayhem 10 weapons, skill combos etc. I don't know what's going on here. Guys we have boss legendaries not common ones, including big boys.

During this ‘Revenge of the Traunt Family’ Event, you are able to get the best versions possible of their dedicated loot and on top of that, the Bloody Harvest Loot is added to their Loot Pools."

Targets: Captain Traunt, General Traunt, and Captain Haunt.
Goal: Have Fun and continue with the Long-Distance Relation Challenge

It took me and a friend about an hour to kill him yesterday. I have a money longbow and my perk increases money pickup by 107% or something and I hit him so many times with it I made 18 million off that fight. And that is after dying about ten times and having to pay 1 million plus each time I died. It was nuts. FYI we are level 50 or so.

So, Is he certainly dropping a Kaoson and some of Bloody Harvest Loot aside from world drop legendaries? Because it's a lot of time.

I heard about the "Traunt family" event but i had no idea what it meant. When it hit me I thought they somehow got bugged. Traunt, Haunt, whatever. So I deleted the download cache and tried to change my build. A couple of times. Truly frustrating. Literally over night I got from (kinda) cheesing the Traunt family to "let-the-pet-kill-the stupid-boss-for-an-hour-while-watching-tv-and-even-going-to-some-store-to-buy-stuff". Personally I think this "Traunt/Haunt bullet-sponge event" right in the middle of The Bloody Harvest is a mistake. (and yes, I'm trying very, very hard to be polite !)

So, Is he certainly dropping a Kaoson and some of Bloody Harvest Loot aside from world drop legendaries? Because it's a lot of time.

I honestly don't remember what he dropped. I do have a Kaoson though so maybe I got that from him.

He drops a Scream Shield that's fairly useless unless you have Bloody Harvest turned on

Kaoson is his dedicated drop and the most useful one. Even with recoil nerf, i am melting enemies with that gun in Mayhem 10. I am 63 and my Kaoson is 57. Just think about that. (Zane)

Turn off the Mayhem, kill him and turn on again. Simple but rewardless sadly.

turning off mayhem does nothing. they all stay in event mode. and you cant turn off the even. this is really crappy planning from gearbox.

He still does, yes.
Dropped for me second run doing the event.

I killed him while doing the Athenas Quest last night, He dropped THREE (YES, THREE) of those Scream Shields for me last night.

I got excited, I saw 3 Legendaries laying there, until they all turned out to be the same thing.

He was easy beforer unlocking mayhem but after I unlocked mayhem, he's literally impossible to beat
I literally cannot make even thw slightest dent in his healthbar

I took down his shield 25% in 20 minutes of non-stop fighting.. It will take over 2 hours just to kill him...
