class mods & artifacts
if i use a class mod which adds points to another skill tree do i have to have the skill from the other tree unlocked to profit from it? (it's still greyed out). And how can i unlock the artifact slot? I'm already LV30 but still can't equip it.

You will benefit from the skill regardless if it is unlocked or not. You need to progress in the main campaign to unlock the artifact slot.

You must kill Graveward (Eden-6) to unlock artifact slot; Skill does not have to be unlocked.
