Final mission in Bounty of Blood glitched and impossible to restart.

It's literally impossible to finish the Bounty of Blood DLC because the "follow posse" objective near the end of the campaign became bugged. This wouldn't be so bad except that the game won't let me restart the campaign so now I am just stuck with an almost complete DLC with a bugged quest which I can't finish.

AFAIK the only workaround is to join a game where someone else is doing that quest and be there at the door when Juno is going to blow it open.

I found and downloaded a save from that point. Send me a friend request and I'll host it and we'll see if we can get through the door together. After that you should be able to continue on your own.

I can help you if you like; just PM me (I sent you a friend request.) On an unrelated note, you might want to consider changing your profile pic. It's nice and all but I've heard that Steam will stick you with an image of a kitten if they decide they don't like your picture. I myself always use official Steam avatars just to be on the safe side.

Hey Finagle, question for you: Fomin helped me through the quest, twice, and it still didn't save on my char :(
On my playthrough I'm still stuck at the closed gate...is there something I need to set in particular so that my game saves progress from the host?
We finished the whole quest with credits and all, turned it in, still didn't save.

HELP :(

So we figured it out, and huge shoutout to Fomin for all the help.
In order to get through, the host needs to be in the right mode for your playthrough, either TVHM or normal.

and it's conveniently close to the bugged step.
as soon as you cross into Crater's Edge, you're clear to continue on your own.
