Grenade mods

is it me or do the grenades in BL3 seem way underpowered I have used a cloning hex and it didn't even dent the damage I have now farmed an its piss and haven't really use it yet, but the grenades are very disappointing so far

Yeah, grenade mods serve less of a purpose in BL3's sandbox. Its nice to play Zane, since with the right skills you dont even need to think about throwing grenades, but its a shame they have less importance, unless you're Moze who gets the most out of them. even then, still not *that* important

Indeed, grenades are not quite as useful in BL3, similar to how rocket launchers in BL1 would miss damage against enemies when shot at angles. They can serve their purpose with the right annointments however.

Grenades in BL3 are rather utility than damage tools, early on they can deal relevant damage tho. Certain nades with certain builds (eg Fish Slap with Melee Amara) can do high damage but oterwise their damage doesn't scale well enough for higher mayhem modes.
I prefer the It's Piss grenade, with the right Anointment it can provide a huge damage boost and it's rather easy to farm.
