PS5 Adaptive triggers added but cant get to work.
I noticed in the game settings they now have a toggle for adaptive triggers on and off. I have a ps5 controller but cant get them to work. Anyone managed to find how to make them work ? Works flawlessly in Metro Exodus but cant seem to find out how to make them work here.

i made a thread about this just now, didn't realize someone else asked this question. It doesn't work for me either. I really hope they fix it or tell us how to activate it.

did you get it working? it seems that you need an official ps5 controller cable connected to pc while using this feature. This cable comes with the ps5

this option seems to destroy mouse button control for some people currently .. no matter on or off its extremely bugged

I don't think that's the case, I play on my brother's ps5 through remote play and get the full functionality from the adaptive triggers as if I were playing it directly on his ps5

Nice to know some progress is being made with implementing functionality for DualSense controller. Until Steam fully implement support outside of beta, I am still patiently waiting. Using a Xbox One Core Series controller. I like it.

I can't even make the game recognize Dualsense without Steam API (that makes it a Xbox pad...)

Still nothing yet

I think the PC patch we got was carried over from the PS5 version and they may have forgot to remove that portion from the menu.

Either they messed up by half-assing the update and listing features that were never meant for the PC version of the game, or they messed up by adding a feature for the game that does not work.

As was mentioned in the other thread: I'm surprised there has been no news/updates on this.

I spoke with a customer support rep at Gearbox. They said haptic feedback hasn't been added to the pc version yet.

I hope they add it, there is no reason why not. At least the directinput controllers support like DS4 or DualSense.

Literally bought this game on steam for the adaptive triggers lol. Everyone online says so much random crap. Some people are saying that it's a "mac only" thing. Some that it's an epic only, some that it's not a thing at all. Do the adaptive triggers work for any games, does anyone know? Because i bought metro exodus to try it out, and didn't realize that the adaptive was only in the enhanced edition - which i cant run lol. but regardless that games is suoer cool. Then the same problem with no man sky, everyone claims it definitely works, but i cant figure that crap out lol. So does anyone know if it really works for any games? Or can i just forget about it until some real info comes out.

It 100 percent works for deathloop, just connect the controller using any old usb cable, disable steam input for the game, and fire it up, both adaptive triggers and haptic feedback work like a dream

Still nothing?

Any updates to this? We are in 2022 and a number of games have dual sense native compatibility. I just bought the game for dualsense support. The option to use adaptive triggers is still in the menu. Has anyone gotten the game to detect dual sense on PC?

After contacting Gearbox, all they would say was "we do not support dual sense on PC"

What a half assed response. They do not give a ♥♥♥♥. Just consider BL3 at its end of life and be wary of Gearbox titles in the future. I know the quality dropped a ton from BL2 to BL3 but come on guys...
