in game UI zoomed in on 21:9 3440x1440 after SHiFT cross platform update

Hi,
I got the recent patch for SHiFT to allow cross platform play. I tried to close B3 to the desktop but it errored out with the troublesome exception code error. I then did a Steam verify files and restarted B3. However now my UI is zoomed in where the menu choices for backpack map and skill tree at top left are zoomed way out where I can only click on their bottom edge to switch. The entire center is zoomed way in. It's useable but terrible to look at. In game health/shield mini map is correctly shown with normal sizes. Is there a fix or does Gearbox know about this yet. I have yet to find any online posts with this issue.

Best to report this directly to GBX or post on their Twitter (I don't have Twitter so can't do it myself). I run 5120x1440 and some menu icons at the top are completely gone unless I go windowed to 1280x720 (only way I can access some of the icons since the buttons for I J K L M are only shortcuts to the first 5 of those icons and the others got added later).

I have the same issue, i was playing @3440x1440. Now to play i have to do a much lower res windowed version. I recall this same thing happened when i was grinding this on the Epix platform last year. Anyone else recall the same?
