Is season pass 2 really that bad?

I've been planning on buying Season pass 2 but I've heard a lot of negative things about it, a lot of streamers and youtubers recommends it and says it's 100% worth it but for me all I see is hate about it over here (I only play the game for gameplay and guns)

How is new skill trees bug with Amara exactly?

And I know they said Iron Cub is weaker overall but might be broken numbers in the scaling on her cub.

I been only playing Arms Race the last few days, either way I'm not surprised there is bugs - it's GBX after all.

1. The ball is getting stuck all the time
2. The ball pretty often spawns in the ground and can't be moved at all
3. There is a bad interaction if you try to punch the ball and you have skilled "Find your Center" or "Blitz" because your character trys to move to an enemy behind the ball. Since it's scaling of melee power you definitely want to use those 2 skills.

I'm also a little pissed off at how they split the content up. It's also initially unclear which parts I get with my original Super Deluxe (much less super now though I guess) edition. It appears to me that the things I get "free" are part of the $40 SP2, but the parts I really want (4th tree, future dlc) are NOT included. So...what is the point of giving me the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ parts free, if I have to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SP2 anyway in order to get the 4th tree and dlc? So really, if I need to buy the SP2 for the character and story progression, why did they bother giving me PARTS of the SP2?

i think part of the issue is the fact there was a 6 months delay untill the game became available on steam, season pass 1 already technicly ended, just not when you consider the steam release date, and since we are past the second haloween event, it should be content for season pass 2.

if gearbox will add more content and stuff befor halloween 2021 it would be worth it.

SP2 is being hated because people, who bought the most expensive ULTIMATE DELUXE edition thought that they should get all content this game ever releases, however season pass 2 is not included in that bundle, so a lot of players feel being tricked by developers. (And I understand them), but season pass 2 is more like a PREMIUM ADDITION to the game, for those loyal fans. People don't want to pay extra money for that season pass, since they paid 100 bucks for ULTIMATE DELUXE edition, plus they are mad because last DLC's felt shorter than ever and didn't give as much content as they expected, when they bought them. But if You don't mind paying extra money, DESINGERS' s CUT features some really nice gameplay and new unique and very special weapons, also those new skill trees are really fun, and bring even more synergy between skill trees and more build diversity. We don't have any details about DIRECTOR' S CUT so If you don't want to risk it, you can buy DLC's separetaly, unless you don't have final form cosmetics that are featured in SP2.

So shorter version: yes it's worth it (well at least for me), more guns, really nice new skill trees bringing lots of fun, one more DLC in spring. Hate is because people don't want to pay more money for this game.

yeah um call someone a "fanboy" even though he made a reasonable argument, and yeah just because he disagrees with people complaining about the Season 2 dlc doesnt mean hes a "fanboy"

Ignore anyone that uses the word "entitled" unironically, or talks about you not being able to afford the game, or having enough disposable income so it doesnt matter, or tries to make a comparison to a completely different experience.
None of these addresses whether it will be fun.

You could pay to watch paint dry for 15 hours, and still conclude that you got more than your money's worth compared to watching a movie. Did you have fun doing it though?

I don't hate DLC. I think DLC is a good idea, when done well. Before that, you had to wait 3-4 years for an "expansion" CD to come out. Now you can get that same content trickling into the game every couple of months.

However, there is no doubt that alot of companies are using DLC as pure, disgusting cash grabs, that barely warrant the price they offer for it.

Many of the streamers and youtubers get the season pass for free and get paid for their endorsements so you really should consider those "opinions" with a grain of salt

it is included in that edition, but only if you buy it AFTER DLC 2 came out. i'm looking at the steam page now, it's there in the version i paid money for, but i don't have it.
