Any reason to keep DLC items and low level legendary weapons?
I'm now lvl 8 and redeemed all the DLC items. Is there any reason to keep them or should I sell them once I'm few levels higher? For example deluxe badass combustor - is it worth anything or just sell it later on?

Same question goes for low legendary weapons? Do they have any use later in game, when I'm for example lvl 30 or just sell them away>

Last thing - can I get back my DLC items later on, if I sold them? For example for my second playthrough with different character?

Thx for answers.

Don't worry and toss items that are under level or feel weak.

When you reach max level (65) is good time to focus on farming loot.

DLC items you got in mail will be made every time you make a new vault hunter and can be recollected.

I would start keeping your best legendary starting at around L15 and then every 5 levels or so. That way if you play another character you will always have a decent weapon / gear.
i also find once u find a weapon you love and cant live with out just ues BL3 save editor and keep said weapon. i been doing this from the start. i found a mag called champion in the starting area right as i opened the red chest by claptrap underground... im at level 21 now and this beadt does more damage per shot then anything else. same no scope. but its hitting at 220 damage. with a shot rate of 14 per sec and has a 11 round mag.. just found a really great shot gun that oddly fires more like a rifle per hole shot. (it like a shotgun its 10x13 (dont remember the real ratio) but its downs NPCS almost as good..

I would also add, that you may as well start using any golden keys somwhere in the mid 40s to 50s since they are absolutley pointless in end game anyway.

So they are just pointless overall.

Ok. But why they are pointless? You mean I'm gonna be getting better gear by just completing missions and fighting bosses or what? Just wanna know for sure.

Depending if you are playing on mayhem level or not most gear outside of some legendaries are worthless at mayhem 10. Anything lower then that is just junk.

mayhem 10 really ruined a lot of stuff in my opinion.

if they bothered scaling things properly none of this would have happened. Heck the original mayhem levels were fine.

Kind of agree.
They should of stuck to just stacking bonus unless they are completely different types like Damage x Fire Rate.

Also what skills scale with Mayhen level and how much, I don't even know where to even look for advice.

Pet, bear and clone scale with mayhem like enemies. If guns scaled the same way balancing wouldn’t be so lump sided.

Not what I meant. Some skills scale with Mayhem, like Moze's "Fire in the skag den" normaly it does +15% bonus fire damage. On M10 it does 3,100% more damage.

At least that's what I read.
Making a skill you may normaly skip getting an essential skill to put points in for M10.

Wouldn’t be an issue if loot scaled.
