Coresploder not destroying wall in Dandy & Damsel mission

DLC 3, sidequest Dandy and the Damsel.. there's a wall that requires you to use a nearby coresploder to get past.. except it's not working for me. I thought I was doing it wrong, so I looked up videos, and nope.. I'm doing it right.
Only thing I can imagine I did wrong was melee the wall first, it made the red outline disappear, and after that whenever I melee the coresploder into the wall, nothing happens.
I restarted the game, no change. Even restarted the whole computer.. still the same

Anyone know how to fix this..?

I’m like a couple years to late, but this was my solution to get into the lab. Requires a few things, but much better than playing the whole game over in my opinion. It’s a little dark on Xbox but you should get the general idea of how to replicate it or come up with your own creative ways. It's not a complete or easy fix, but I hope it helps those who are still plagued by this bug :).

Thanks for the late response, I gave up on playing the game because of that bug, might try to get back to it now that I can progress again (though to be honest, if I ever get into Borderlands, it'll probably be 2, not 3)

Bug Still exsist, I get they really didnt care about making the game but jesus how does a glitch like this still exsist

incompetent team who made the game not for fans but for political points otherwise they would have fixed this stuff by now.

Doesn't make me very confident next game will be worth buying.

Nah it wasn't political points, it never really is. It was pure greed, thats why they went the streamer angle. I mean its gear box so its got randy pitchfords greasy hands all over it so wer shouldnt be surprised.

I mean look at the film, why the ♥♥♥♥ are they even making one after they failed BL3 so hard?

Also I've read the movie is gonna be pg13....if true it's not even worth streaming for free.
