Mayhem Mode Is Stupid

No matter what weapon I use, I can never do as much damage as Mose's Iron bear. I'm at Mayhem 6 since that's the minimum level to get all the items (Mayhem Exclusive Items stop at 6) and it's lame. I'll try four, next. I'll probably end up not touching Mayhem Mode at all and hope they stop with the difficulty exclusive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Legendaries are too common, even without mayhem, anyway.
Edit: Do enemies scale to lvl 65 on Normal Mode? Are they gonna add another difficiculty? They need to increase the level cap, even if they didn't do the 4th skill tree. 80 on BL2 is pretty high and they don't have 4 trees. It should be at least 70, 72 would be nice cuz then we have exactly 70 points to work with instead of 63, which is a weird number. 65 is also a weird number. Why a multiple of 5 when every other game (except 1) has an even level cap?
I think Blue and Purple weapons should be usable in end game. Maybe at least Purple. Having to use legendaries just to get by is stupid.

yea IB is OP and as soon as that patch dropped I skilled away from deathless build to a more IB centered skilling

tbf tho if I would go back to my deathless build and got the right weapons like flipper x8monarch and a sandhawk I can somewhat hold up the damage IB does, mainly the sandhawk is a power house. Its empty fast sadly even with ammo regen.

IB obvs is better in general with no ammo worries and way better survivability working with a last stand artifact and a stop gap shield basically just staying alive till AS is ready again



if you do play IB tho and want to farm for weapons there literally no difference doing it on M6 or M10 as IB damage output scales more or less equally to enemy HP gain

Mayhem is fine for the most part, I can complete everything on M10 accept for the the final boss only of the Cluster DLC, and everything on Guardian Takedown, the health pool is way too much on them

tldr;
Iron Bear is extremely powerful, even though it's lackluster compared to Moze's damage output if you don't build for it
Bear doesn't have to worry about ammo economy, neither does Moze with a majority of weapons

Flipper, Clairvoyance, and Long Musket do work sans IB but IB is the only one that can clean up crowds on M10.

Funnily enough, Bear isn't very good if you don't build for it
my main Moze build has barely anything boosting IB's damage, and it can't kill as fast as I can with w/e weapon I have out

i'd recommend watching one of the trillion build guides out there.
if you struggle this much with Moze on M6, then it's not the game's fault, but your lack of understanding gear, weapon, anoint and skill interactions.
just watch some guides and you will steam roll every content in the game with Moze (without IB, perhaps auto IB), she's currently top tier.

moze: get a blastmaster or mindsweeper classmod (stats like smg/maliwan/weapon dmg something like that), equip a flipper (corrosive & whatever you want), you are set for anything

I do find how op iron bear is funny. I may have a hard time taking down a few bad guys so i jump in iron bear and then there all dead in under 5 seconds. I even jump out of it just to watch it melt the bad dudes. 1 rocket arm is all you need, add ice to the other arm and its gg, lol

M mode is werid. I'm doing a solo m2 run. somtimes I like it caz the enemy's arnt push overs and they there always my level but other times I hate it caz of how they just eat damage and they drop way to many guns. only had 2 m gums drop aswell,one was worce thrn a gun I got 5 legs ago, the other was...ok I guess. Half the time im leaving legendarys on the floor caz my bp is full of them.

And the shotguns, my God... are they made of shotguns. seems like every 2ed gun they drop is a shotgun.... give me a gun I want to use ffs!!

Kills basic enemies in one shot, anointed in 3, Graveward in 6 or 8, can take down final boss in DLC4 relatively quickly... just point-and-shoot to evaporate enemies. Railguns are harder to use if enemies are close but you can compensate by correcting your aim.
