Krakatoa bug or change?

Its not spawning the volcano when i kill an enemy did they eventually nerf it or is this a bug, its been a month since i played and i can't seem to find details if it was intentional or not.

I have never seen it spawn a volcano, I'd assume it's a bug because that is supposed to be its legendary effect and not the insanely high damage.

Well thats annoying... At least it makes it a little less OP for now. If i can find a stormbringer i hope they fixed that, i liked that sniper.

Does it need to crit? I get it to proc probably about 1/3 of the time.

I've had crits and normal body shots and neither caused it.

It doesn't need to crit. It has been working for me on a Krakatoa I picked two days ago.

What video card and graphics settings do you use?

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6gb
Med settings.

This has not changed the last time i played the game, and last time it DID work, but it isn't now.

I presume you verified the games files? If not do that first. You could then try just altering the graphics settings.

You didn't get the gun from another player, one that could have been altered?

It was a gun drop and it worked before, not sure why now when nothing changed besides BL3 getting a few updates and hotfixes.

Now if they fix the vehicle reset bug, that would be great.
