The Monarch?

Hey guys, the internet says that to get the Weapon "The Monarch" we have to kill Killavolt at M6+. I'm doin him at M8, but he just drops SMGs. Did it about 20 times now (with Yellowcake hes beaten very fast) So..is his normal lootpool (with the Monarch in it) "offline", as long as the event with special weapon drops on Promethea is going on? Or do I just don't have luck.

I's just luck. The promethea event is currently effecting other/dedicated drop rates. As you noticed, the area killavolt is in has a much higher chance of dropping SMGs, so drop rates for normal dedicated drops are effectively lower than usual, and with the low drop rate of these new M6+ weapons already, they'll drop even less now.

You just gotta keep farming and hope for the best!. I'm in a similar situation as you atm, currently farming for a perfect sand hawk, but the area Katagawa Jr is at drops more ARs, so I am seeing a sand hawk around every 40-50 kills ish :/

Probably another exegeration. Anyway, most dedicated drops have 1/10 chance to drop (1/10 to drop an item from the dedicated pool, so if a boss has 2 its 1/20 etc.). So doing 20 (or even 50) rounds without a dedicated drop is not a rare thing. All I can say is keep going and hope RNJesus has pitty on you. Or trade one if you are sick of farming.

BTW, from head i believe Killavolt has 2 dedicated drops. Could be 3 if the Transformer is actually a dedicated drop from him as wel.

Because it has crazy DPS. With the bipod bullets are increased even more, its not super ammo efficient, but it easily outdps's the OPQ. In fact, id say it does easily twice the DPS of a OPQ.

but the spread is just to much, what build is it even good for? opq system is so much better for crit fl4k which is what im playing

With this gun you can stay non stop in Fade Away with Fl4k.

When Fade Away runs out you can get it back in just a second dua of many crits with the Monarch especially when it's 8x dmg multiplier. So you can go back in Fade Away

Just get close and the spread aint a problem. Also, not every gun has to be for everyone, if you like your OPQ then stick to that. I think the OPQ is overrated and dont use it, to each their own,. (A good Boom Sickle is on par DPS wise but way more ammo efficient.) However, i do use the Monarch at times, as its almost as OP and fast as a Yellowcake for most stuf.

It's the same like Auto Lance build in Diablo 3 which is 0 Auto at all but it has the name for it for some reason so yeah. Atleast this is almost non stop. with 1-2 seconds normal state

Killed maybe 40-50 times and he droped 5x Monardch (4 with non element and one with shock) M10 eq. dice with +15 to luck.

So, there's currently an event going on where the Sera of Supremacy, the boss of The Hall Obsidian and the trial of Supremacy, is supposed to drop the Monarch rifle. But on the wiki, the Monarch is listed as only dropping on Mayhem 6 and up. Is this the case for the event, too?

not technicaly, but for now i made him 6 times and only had the DLC gun i can't use, so i try killavolt instead
