Network error when trying to play online

Recently bought borderlands 3 to play with friends but i receive a network error when trying to do anything online. I didn't receive any prompt to sign in using a swift account even though i created a swift account manually and connected it to my steam account. Has anyone had the same issue? If so please help.

p.s please don't tell me to send a gearbox support ticket for this issue i've been waiting for a week already for a response

Yea like other says, this game not designed to play co-op or online multiplayer, their server are ♥♥♥♥.

I had a similar problem when I first bought the game. I ended up exiting the game to desktop and re-started game and could connect to Shift and was able to do co-op. This game does play well in co-op, my husband and I play co-op all the time in BL3.

What region do you live in? Ive noticed that many people who have the network issue don't live in europe or the US like me

EDIT: got disconnected as well after a while lets hope they fix it soon.

Yeah, connection errors in Germany too.
my wife connected without any issue, but I'm unable to.
The streaming-option says "signed in to gearbox shift", but whenever I select coop, LAN or online, it shows me "everyone needs to be connected to gearbox shift to use this functionality".

Did a fresh install and restarted my computer, nothing worked for me. Strange: Yesterday I've played with randoms for about 2 hours

exactly the same for me. I'm in Germany, too.

It kept prompt me "Network Error", I can't connect to the server at all since April 30 after the update/maintenance, or whatever they called it. I've the SHiFT linked to Steam. I've reinstalled both Steam and BL3. I've cleared the cache. I've also submitted a ticket to Gearbox, which no one responded to after 2 days. I've contacted them in Twitter, also no respond. I've no idea what else to do with it. I can't connect it to SHiFT means I can't join any of the events, I can't join any co-op sessions. Well, maybe it's a sign to just leave the game and start with something else...
