Erh!? She dead dude. If they somehow bring her back to life in the two upcoming DLCs. They better explain how the hell she survived that. If not. That's too bad.

maybe claptrap goes back through time and saves her. I would accept that.

Yeah, I'm not a lore expert of the world of Borderland but I remember having heard in a youtube video review that the game say (from an audio log or text document) that siren doesn't really die or experience death differently. I'll put a link to the video when I'll find it.
Maybe she could be phasing back from her book I don't know! But I would accept such solution for sure, no matter how poorly explain it would be.

Yeah and the game doesn't tell how Ava master her power so fast and many other thing are clearly foggy, and just barely mentionned while making no sense,
how she learn how to use them so fast that it make lilith seem dumb. Maybe she could become god revive her from her book then...

I mean, Tyreen sucked up Lilith's powers. Even after they were passed to Troy, she was able to eventually retrieve them. And Sirens can choose whom their powers go to. Perhaps living Sirens could transfer their powers, too.

If that's not the case, I'd be more than happy to kill Ava so Phaselocking could return to Maya.

I didn't said that what the twin did was more believable Blackwolfe, are you thinking I'm trying to defend anything in borderland 3 story? What made you think so if yes?

Jack tried to clone Maya and and Lil via the buffer in the New You stations but all he got was perfect copies without Siren powers so he gave up on the tech. But no one bothered removing the code from the New You stations, and Krieg caught wind of the cloning program.

So now it's his purpose in life to track down the tech Jack used so he can bring Maya back. She'll be a perfect copy of Maya when she last used the New You.

Death shouldn't really exist in the Borderlands series because of the New U stations. Even when the company wanted the player dead they revived them. In Borderlands 1 the only 2 characters to really die were T.K. Baha and Commandant Steele. (as far as I remember) Every boss you kill respawn and can be killed after restarting the game. Then the DLCs came. T. K. Baha was poor, so maybe he couldn't afford to revive, and Commandant Steele died by the hands of the Destroyer, that shouldn't really change anything, but she was a siren if I know correctly, at least she has tattoos. Rules might be different for some reason. EDIT: But now that I think about it she might've been revived, noone knows, she's not a Commandant anymore for sure, but who knows if she's alive..

Anyway most deaths are meaningless. Borderlands 2 was the first that tried to dramatize the story trough meaningful deaths, while it makes no sense. I really dislike BL2 story, the only good thing about it was Handsome Jacks character. That's it.

In BL3 at least this death is different and might be explained why it is permanent. Her death was fine, and just because she's you waifu it doesn't mean her death was "bad". That part of the story was fine.

What's wrong with the BL3 story is fairly simple: everyone always talks. Why can't they just shut the hell up? In BL1 the game lets you play it. In BL2 the game nags you most of the time, but in BL3 noone can shut their holes. Even with these same characters if they talked 90% less the story would've been completely fine by most people.

BL2, while I didn't find it that funny, was better in this regard, because there was less talking, thus there was more jokes in it in percentage.

You seem to be the kind of person who consider the last season of Game of Thrones and The Last Jedi star wars movie to be masterpiece, while in my opinion, they clearly aren't. It's not hate for hating, it's just asking the dev to care about their fans... But that's probably too much to ask.
I don't want to censor their ideas in any way, but I wish they could explain less poorly how they can be considered enjoyable for the player who care about the character involved in the story, in any way.
