Way too much loot!
Do you also experience these absolutely ridiculous amounts of loot? We normally play in a group of four (if that should matter), and are in the middle of the first run of the main game (lvl 24). What bothers us again and again is the insane amount of legendary and epiv drops. In BL2 we had maybe 4 or 5 in the whole first run! Here we have that many at every halfway big encounter. Every 200 m there are several badass opponents, who splash loot around like pinatas. I'm not even interested in the epic weapons anymore. This also leads to a huge powercreep where we mow everything down very fast (unfortunately you can't choose anything more difficult than "normal").

This totally ruins the fun of the game. there is no real joy about the loot anymore. It feels like you have basically activated some kind of trainer or cheat. Do you have such experiences?

Four players= more powerful enemies= better loot.

Amazing someone's complaining there's too much loot. For me I find BL2 boring is because it's such a grind to even find a DECENT weapon..
I play to have fun, not to work my ass off just to get a Legendary weapon that MAY NOT EVEN be suited for my build....

I guess we can't satisfy everyone. That's a harsh truth....
So to answer your question, no I don't feel there's any issue with it.
Besides it's not like you're guarantee to get the weapon that you wanted, which have the best Anointed effect and best Stats either or even the Element you want.

I tend to have few different Element on myself even if it's the same gun.
Isn't the point of BL all about the LOOT ??? Now there's too much LOOT ?? LOL !!

Gamers these days....

Still such a big discrepancy? Admittedly, in BL2 we played with 3 players, but the difference is huge. Like I said, so huge that there is really a total lack of interest in loot

Unfortunately, the first run is always going to feel like that due to only having normal and easy mode available. Once you beat the game, you'll unlock true vault hunter mode like the previous games did, and on top of that, they have a Mayhem Mode that was a big selling point of the game that amps the game's difficulty up to 10 levels based on your choice.

They recently revamped Mayhem Mode into Mayhem 2.0 that fixed a lot of things, and added a lot more difficulty customization to the game. There's a lot in the game, and most won't be unlocked until you're finished with you first run, which is a bummer, but if you stick with it it will get more challenging.

(That sadly won't change the high amount of legendary's problem though. I find so many in game that other than when i was level 0-4, i haven't used anything lower than a purple rarity item... and that was a shield, I've rarely if ever used guns less than Legendary level.)

To add to this, i mostly play solo, and sometimes with 1 friend, and i still get a buttload of loot.

Being in a group of four really does make things easier, even though the game buffs the mobs a little, having 3 extra players is a huge advantage. Being a solo player, I have a bag full of legendaries in mayhem 10, which i end up selling because they're mostly trash. In normal any legendary is great, however when you get to mayhem, and TVHM, there're only a few legendaries that actually deal enough damage, so i would recommend holding off on coop till you finish the campaign.

tldr: no, huge amounts of legendaries drops doesn't break the game, 80-90% of legendaries you get are trash.

Yep, bl3 drop rate is stupid and ruined it for me. At lvl 5, 30min into the game i got 3 epics 2 rares. In bl1 i think the 1st epic was the anarchy and the 1st rare was the fire gun from 9toes. They got obselete fairly quick tho. Not in bl3 youll get another epic in 10min.
