Mayhem 2.0 too hard?
I was doing some side missions with Mayhem 1 before the patch and tried Mayhem 3 and 2 after the patch and enemies are just too strong for me, and dont know if thats normal lol, any idea?
PS, I have legendary items on all slots, thanks to the coop event and almost all of them are same with my hero level and although I'm not good at shooting, I know I'm not bad at it :bbtcat:

The enemies' hit points have been increased dramatically, even on the lowest mayhem levels. I think the loot dropped on each level has increased damage output so that players can work their way up to each mayhem level, so to speak. Personally, I think the scale is way too high for the sake of flexibility.

I mean, for my type of talent and will, old mayhem 1 was really good, providing enough challenge but still considerably easy, with specific specs recieving buffs or nerfs time to time. Plus, it scales the missions level as yours so it was really good but the new system kinda sucks. Hope they give the option to revert back to original but I dont think they will do that.

I found m5 to be about just right for now, but m6 is taking a long time to down regular stuff. Will need to farm in m5 for a bit me thinks.

Also, not a fan of the galactic big heads...they get in the way too much. Don't even try an emote guys. Haha.

Yeah I’m really digging the Mayhem 2.0 changes & agree to jump into 10 is silly. Even getting M3/M4 rated weapons will help a lot while you’re trying to farm M6/M7.

And I chuckled a bit seeing this topic here & the exact opposite on the GBX forums. Can’t please everyone

I just wish items were rated BY their mayhem level, instead of this goombah arbitrary point system.

Ya, it would be nice to know at a glance if it's a Mayhem item or not instead of having to look at the stats.

Pardon my stupidity but how do you understand if a weapon is belongs to a mayhem level?

I found the original Mayhem 2 to be alright, and I was probably ready to move up to Mayhem 3. This new system, coupled with the cartel spawn rate, ended up bumping me down to Mayhem 1 just because I got tired of dying too many times in the "combat areas" in the zones.

Theres literally no change to enemy damage except some gimmicks at high mayhem which makes sense anyway.

Only way is to look at its item score and know what ranges are possible for what mayhem level. Prior to 2.0 being introduced, I think the highest I saw was like 645 or something, but I think TVHM drops could go up to somewhere around 660. Most drops were a fair bit below that. Been playing on mayhem 6, and so far the best drop I've gotten is 650. I've heard people getting stuff with 680 on mayhem 10, but I have no idea if that's a high or low score for m10.

Yeah, new mayhem 1 is the most acceptable one but it is easier than old mayhem 1 now lol, and it takes so long to kill an enemy in new mayhem 2 for me so I guess I will go for mayhem 1 for now.
