It's a bit too frustrating to be playable for me at the moment. I can't hear enemies at all and can't clear even one section without it happening.
I saw this had been a similar issue with Eden 6 in the past, but now it seems it is happening intermittently everywhere. There was audio related stuff in the patch today, that is what I have been assuming is the cause.
Additionally, I've noticed that there's all kinds of weird overlapping, glitchy sounding audio since this patch (especially during fights with lots of different sounds playing), mostly sharp directionless sound effects with no modulation that cut-out and replay while overlapping other directionless sound effects. (Usually when Cartel are spawning while several Anointed are already running around with Zealots shooting chemical rockets everywhere and all that, all happening at once.)
I have turned off the shock Nova one which has worked so far.
What a disappointment this game is.
I am going to try and change some of the Mayhem modifiers today. Pretty sure the healbots are causing sound issues also, they leave a loud static noise even after they are gone. Maybe they are what is causing it for me.
