Fl4k Hunter skill tree is essential for Mayhem 4? Any good Master/Stalker build?

Hello, my apologies for my bad english.

In many builds I've seen for Fl4k, everyone seems to go for his Hunter skill tree. I've tried it in some builds but, because I suck at aiming and find my pet too fragile I didn't enjoy its.

Yeah, I should obviously play what I want, but I wonder if the Hunter tree is a necessary for Fl4k? There is good Master/Stalker builds around?

I run Hunter/Stalker build and it is OP.
I can even solo True Maliwan Take Down with Fl4k.

I use the Hunter primary and Stalker secondary, Master only i item with Fade build and I always play in M4 and it does very well. There are Master/Stalker builds out there that others do well with, just google that build and start working on it.
Farming for very specific items helps really getting your build to top level, thats really the key for M4.

Necessary no, I can solo m4 proving grounds without a point in it, and not even needing to abuse lob.

But it takes good effort and while it can be more fun and have more survivality, you are missing out on a ton of damage.

If your goal is to solo maliwan takedown or melt bosses as fast as possible, Hunter tree is a must.

For me, coop player, is not needed at all, but must admit im dealing a ton less dmg than fade away, hunter crit builds

played through the whole game on normal using master tree and was loving it, felt like my pet was a wrecking ball, tried to do the maliwan takedown and lost hard on wotan, like i could barely even get to the split phase without running out of ammo and my pet was literally just killing himself in wotan's aoe, i thought maybe i just wasn't strong enough to do it yet...

played the slot machines a few times in sanctuary and got a good class mod for hunter tree which gave buffs for boss fights, figured i'd respec and give the takedown another go so i could compare builds, i absolutely wrecked wotan, i crit that mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of existence, never going back to master tree

The main question thou on a Master/Stalker, would be are you considering hiding while using skag, or gamma bursting a jabber into being King Kong?

Of those options, the attempt to make King Kong, seems to be the more interesting one. It hinges thou on the practicability of using the Stalker tree without any fade away boosts, instead relying purely on Jabber boosting aspects, minion boosts of master, and the enlargement of gamma burst. While you as Flak himself would be doing less, that jabber in theory should be like King ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Kong with a gun.

Certainly the fade away and skag could work, but the question is whether hiding and shooting what the skag flushes out, really feels any different than doing the same, with any other beast choice.

I want to feel my pet and I are useful for something, that my pet is an important of my gameplay, not just a weak NPC. So the "King-Kong Gamma Burst" suits me more.

I've already done Maliwan takedown in solo. It was a bit hard against Wolan, but possible with good weapons like the Lob or cutmans.

I just wonder if there are well-know Master/Stalker builds for this goal.
