Is the Quasar grenade bugged ?

3901 damage along with 4984 shock dmg/s

It cant kill even a regular weak trash mob

Heck, it cant even strip a shield from a mob

The damage it deals is so laughable that it literally tickles the enemy

Regular grenades of any quality deal actual damage (be in to HP or to shields) while this one....pretty much doesnt do anything. It launches, it turns into tesla and it shocks everything around but it just deals so little damage that its like 2 regular melee attacks (without any melee buffs)

Something is off here

EDIT: I just actually looked closer and "tested" it. One shock Quasar barely stripped 1/8 of enemy shield when the whole grenade power was focused on 1 enemy (as there were no other enemies around). Pretty much as much as my 1 melee attack which takes out just a little short of 1/8 of the shield bar

quasar is used more for the singuality effect than damage... but i also think it deals the bulk of its damage in a small area a while after doing its ragdoll flingy stuff (which would throw enemies away from the actual nade explosion anyway)

Hahah, the Quasar is not a damage grenade. It is a utility grenade. Use it to move enemies. Should be kind of obvious if you throw it that it has very unique behavior?

Is there a damage grenade? I mean any grenade has very low damage in higher MH levels, I wish they would buff their damage at some point becauise right now they are just used as a buff.

Mayhem is not meant to be level 58-67, it is meant to be a new type of gameplay that has different properties. It makes sense that a lot of equipment and skills aren't going to work as well. It wasn't balanced for that. But that's why I didn't mention Mayhem. :)
