I'll just display this guy whining about people whining
gonna ride 'til I can't no more...
Never toggled it.
That's actually a good idea
There's no pleasing Steam's playerbase, it's ALWAYS something. I gave you a solution.
This recent dev update from the News tab details it.

Hopefully once they implement all these changes it will be more enjoyable.
I just hope "under-performing gear" includes non-legendary(and hopefully also non-unique) weapons.
In BL2 I used almost exclusively E-tech and uniques. The unique weapons in this game are left behind in the dust right now and Alien weapons have weak scaling for how rare they can be.
Psst. You are on steam right now. So you are one of the steam users that you are insulting... cute.
As soon as Raaaaaaaaaaandy bad mouthed the steam community it was on like donkey mong man... don't know why people don't expect a certain cause and effect...
I was a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and now people are calling me an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for some reason!
I've only ONE complaint, a nitpick actually, about BL3:
For those of us who do NOT play the BL series for story, please allow NPCs to first offer the Mission Item, then give the boring exposition, so we'll not waste any playtime and can immediately Fast-Travel to the objective.
You're not the only one. Listening to Ava is a task of suffering
