Bolt-Ons Achievement not Unlocking?
I've been playing the game for quite a while now and one thing I've noticed is that my bolt-on achievement has been stuck at 6/10. Even after unlocking a dozen or more skins after noticing, the count won't go up. Is anyone else running into trouble with this? I've tried everything I can think of to get that number to go up but to no avail. I've contacted 2K about it and they don't really know what to do either. Has anyone had this problem and found a way to get around it?

No achievements at the moment. From my experience, I was able to get last chievo in May 18. From that - dead end. All are locked

Same. Please file a support ticket. They seem to be ignoring mine.

I managed to find something that worked for me; in my case, the achievement wasn't progressing because all the skins I was unlocking were on pre-existing characters I brought over from Epic. Apparently if you do that it will never count them. I made a brand new character only through Steam and then unlocked the few skins I'd be saving and it unlocked for me. I think you can also buy from Earl, so try that if you can before doing anything else. If you don't have any skins still able to unlock, I think I've found a workaround for that too. First, you'll want to collect a bunch of skins and heads you already have, toss them in storage till you have enough. Once you do, put them all on a new, steam-only character's inventory. From there you can go to C:\Users\[your username]\Documents\my games\Borderlands 3\Saved\SaveGames\[Some really big number]. Usually it's the one with the most recent date. Make a copy of your save data. After you do that, turn off steam cloud sync and delete the SaveGame folder's profile.sav; it's what stores all the data on skins that are unlocked (your character datas are the numbers). Boot up the game and use the skins on the new steam character (with profile.sav moved away from the SaveGame folder, all skins should be able to be unlocked again. Unlock skins and buy stuff from Earl and it should hopefully progress, or just unlock outright.
Edit: Once you're done with this process, just move your copy of profile.sav back to the SaveGame folder and re-enable steam sync and all your profile data (unlocked skins, etc) will be back to normal.

Obviously if you're not careful you can run the risk of losing data, but as long as you make copies and are careful with them, you shouldn't run into any trouble. I've done this a dozen times trying to get the achievement to unlock and I haven't had anything go wrong.

Many of us not get achievements are new to the game with STEAM and did not import anything.

That's true, but the profile technique is still useful. It seems like the unlock progress is linked to characters, so if it doesn't unlock for one character, you would need a way to unlock skins once you've used them all up. It's also worth noting that it seems to be especially bugged with co-op play so being able to try to re-unlock skins could be the only way to make any progress.
