Best Co-Op Combo / Team

So, generally all combos of characters are ideal, but I was hopping to get some opinions on what everybody prefers as far as which character works best with another.

My friend is getting BL3 soon and is planning to play as AMARA for his first playthrough and this will be my first time playing co-op. I'm torn between Zane and FL4K. I feel like Amara will do well enough in both offense and defense so that's where the difficulty in choosing comes from.

Anyway, if you don't have any input on our specific selection of characters, I'd still like to hear what you guys think works best when it comes to 1 + 1 co-op.

Zane if you plan on doing anything hard, FL4K if you plan on playing basic modes.

FL4K seems to rely on a badly scaling pet in higher difficulty, so that makes him 'worse' in my view.

Personally, I'd suggest just going with grenade-spec Moze since she clears content on her own and doesn't need a team.

Just clearing the game it won't really matter either way, so just depends what you want to do.

Siren can blast them just fine I would suggest a FL4K or a Zane for bosses and a Siren for mobbing.

there are no combo classes.
siren is completely broken and has the highest damage, mob control and is immortal duo to the lifesteal on top. 2x siren is by far the most overpowered duo. if you think its too boring because easy, etc ... play flak or moze. zane is absolutely low trash with hard ammo problems compared to the others.

To be honest, a FL4K can down bosses in seconds and with a Siren it makes, at least in my opinion, te best combo. Especially using a turret FL4K with Monarch or something similar.

While Sirens get the best dps in groups and can clean then in a few seconds they lack the raw burst of damage which helps a lot to jump from one phase to teh next while bossing.

once there are a few mobs around an boss or multiple bosses at once you can just oneshot them with a projectile repercussion as siren while this is impossible and after all a harder takedown with any other class. if the boss is completely alone a siren still hits at least as hard as a fade-flak while still being immortal. the only problem sirens have is that the action skill element should fit on the boss health bar else u lose a hell of dmg

My first coop run was as fl4k and my friend picked amara.... no problems at all.....
I recently leveled Zane and my guess is he would do well too.
Two sirens is a damn strong combo aswell. You won't have any problems with mobbing, and bossing goes well too with right build/gear.
