Weapon brands will send you mail for completing their weapon challenges, which often sport blue/purple weapons. Check your mail often.

You can also send items/weapons to your friends using this feature.

vendortrash mail... i stopped opening them...

why they made this a thing is beyond me... it's just a waste of time... even developing will allways be a time better spent on something usefull...

Actually it's pretty useful if you are playing on a high level character and then decide to level another character, you can claim the guns on the new character and sell them to get a nice boost in SDU's.

nothing you could do just buying some when that moment arives :)

and leveling a character in this game is easy... no need for those guns...

I’ve used plenty of them on my first play through. I even got some of my fav guns through it.

But like you said, you can ignore it. Seems like you already fixed your problem, dude.

I think it's a great way to level up your guns from manufacturers which gameplay you enjoy. I used the mail weapons quite a bit on the first playthrough. It does become quite useless after you start TVHM and get showered with purples and legendaries though.

This feels like a very personal opinion, rather than any kind of fact. It's fine if you don't use them or open them, but some people find them useful. Nothing really to argue over. <shrugs>

Taking personal opinions as facts that make us look better than others is what we, as gamers, do. It's kinda our thing.

That’s NOT true. In fact, that makes you a gamer-racist SJW just for saying it! And I can say that because I have gamer friends. They all agree.
