lost all my skins and heads
so when playing my computer crashed on me (happens from time to time on online games, never happen on a game like bl before)

first time booting up it acted as i had never played the game before, even wanted me to make a new account (or a "what do you want other people to see you named as"). i exited out of it and on re entering it worked fine.

a few hrs later i go to a new u station to change my head to see one i unlocked before my crash. when i get there the only heads that are unlocked at the stock ones. none on the ones i bought, none i got in quests, not the one i won in the lottry, not the code ones, nothing. same with my skins

i cleared my cache but that didnt work

is there anyway to get the skins back or do i need to get them all again (and yes, the one i bought it back in the shop)

In Steam settings, then Cloud. If its checked enabled, uncheck it.

Perfect thanks!

Blue screens suck. You can run a command in windows to see what caused it if you remember the exact date it happened. Let me try to remember how to do that. Bsod's can be a permanent issue if not fixed.
im 99% sure i know the problem. think its my wifi driver screwing up (wfp invalid operation). i have read a way to fix it but i also see people saying doing it makes them not be able to use the net on the computer/laptop. im in the mid set "it mostly works, if i try and fix it it could stuff up so bad i cant use my computer anymore"

if it gets worse i may do the "fix"

(lol, it blue screened on me when i was posting this...)

Funny but not at the same time. haha
You tried to update your network driver? Are you in a position where you can get your laptop repaired if nothing else? Could be internal.
tried getting it fixed a few times. caz its a gaming laptop no one wants to touch it caz the parts (battery mostly) will have to be got from another country. that and to fix the battery = pulling the laptop apart fully (i looked it up, the battery is the 2nd hardest part to take out, 1st being the keyboard)

i never move my laptop around anymore, so that part dosnt affect me. i could move and plug my ethernet cable into it to try the fix...... but as i said, i hear that sometimes stuffs it up... even tho the people saying that prob didnt plug in a ethernet cable

on the puss side, got the bug report. didnt know i had to make a "gearbox bug report account". i swear i got like 5 different accounts for borderlands.... lol

they say there getting alot of reports atm so it may take longer then normal. here is hoping when i get on tomorrow i have a email from them

Yeah try the ethernet. That slipped my mind. I guess cus i use wifi too. Sometimes, well, i get network issues often. I'm far from my modem. I'm sure that's my problem but i would like to know if it helps you bypass that bsod. Is your wifi an attachment or internal?

Gearbox said that to me too and answered in a hour. So.. they might put you through some hoops. Wanting a dxdiag and something else maybe.
its nets from a moden in a differnt room. got a cable hooked up to my old computer (havent used in years) so i can easly unhook that and plug it in to my laptop

knowing me, its a 5 min fix for something thats been affecting me for a few years now but im not lazy to do it and also worried it will stuff up
