Loot and XP Boost

OK... am I missing something? Just got a shield that gives an XP and loot boost. The effects work through level 10. The min level for the item is 15. So uh... worthless or not?

If I remember correctly, that shield is supposed to only be obtained through Mail, and thus it's level is set at whatever level you claim it at. If you had checked the mail while Level 1, the shield should have been level 1 as well, allowing it's bonus to apply.

if you read it, it says something "Take it to eleven" (spinal tap reference). Meaning use it at lvl 10 to get to 11 fast.

I guess if it sets it's level at what you get it at... OK... Still kind of amessed up system/item...

I too realised about the mail feature too late, and got this item around the same level, or even higher. Luckily, this is not a one time per account thing; you can get the items again when you start a new character. This shield and the Butt Stallion grenade are probably the only things worthwhile from the deluxe edition. You may want to hold off grabbing the grenade, but don't waste any time in getting the shield.

Imo - the only thing worth using is money grenade as it is somewhat useful even in endgame.

From my experience, it's meant as a booster from level 1 to 11. Exclusive for those who bought the crazy deluxe edition like I did. lol
