[BUG] I cannot read Eridian Writings despite completed campaign

I completed the campaign in coopetition mode with friends.
However, I cannot read any Eridian Writings! We switched to TVHM now and everyone else has can read them just fine, except for me.
I tried to go to The Great Vault once more in single-player mode, beat Troy and entered, but there was on Eridian Analyzer for me to take, which makes sense as I already completed the whole campaign.
Then I went to Tannis' lab on Sanctuary and still couldn't read the red Eridian Writing there.
My character just gives the various cannot-read-voice lines, such as "It's Eridian script but my database is strangely empty", "This writing is familiar but I cannot understand" etc.
So whenever our group finds an Eridian Writing, one of my friends has to read it because my character cannot, wth..

the eridium writings are the ones u can find in any map exploring, they 30 in total

and absolutely nothing happens when you do find them all. except you get a steam achievment.

Any hexediting info perhaps to remedy this?

You can't read the one in Sanctuary. By design. Its only readable after you get the rest, afaik.

I am able to analyze them but they stay lit up blue on map saying read writing but I cannot. This is in TVHM. I don't know if analyzing them means reading.

Yes, analyzing means reading, and you should be able to read every writing in the game once, there are 30+1 such writings. I have "read" 7 so far, because my party members read them, while my own character is still bugged and cannot read any.

So any fix? will also take hexedit addresses to remedy this. Save files are local, right?

As far as I remember, the Sanctuary tablet is the first to be read, even Tannis asks you to enter her room after receiving the reader. Right after you have plundered the Alien Vault and received the device.

Edit: @CBlue Could it have something to do with group? Transferred characters from Epic to Steam ? Have you tried reading solo first?

I have tried everything, it just doesn't work, this character is bugged and cannot read ANY writings even though it only got 8 of 30 registered so far, which came from my co-op buddies.

I have a strong suspicion how this bug works though - I had another bug that prevented videos from playing, rendering me unable to complete the early campaign mission where you have to watch the screen. I was able to get by that because of co-op.
Now, the Eridian Analyzer quest apparentlly also has a video, showing Tannis. I suspect that because that video failed too to play for me, somehow my character's quest conclusion was internally skipped and it got bugged, yet due to co-op the mission counted as "finished" for me because my teammates did it with me.

got the same problem, can't read any of the eridian texts altough i was in the Chamber. Maybe i forgot to take the analyzer with me or maybe i sold it accidently, idk. Any way to fix that?

So....what happens if you go back to the Vault Room? NVHM.

i tried that but the analyizer isn't there. When i first took the analyzer (guess it did) i didn't speak to Tannis in her lab and continued playing. When i went back to her there was no option to speak to her about the analyzer. So i hopefully on my 2. playthrough then!

I see. Most likely bugged out. Not easy to fix even if you were to get into someone main mission. You could join someone who is on that mission, not sure it will work out.

The only where is to try on TVHM mode (assuming that you have yet done that). Only in TVHM, you can reset the game.

In co op when someone reads it bo.atter where u are even in a loadingnscreen it wont let u get it.. Weird i know.

I was finally able to get them after migrating my save to steam after doing the whole campaign with someone on epic
