because, man's not hot.

Because it's doing work. Much more work when running a modern game such as this, i.e. more current flowing through its circuitry to account for all the additional calculations, i.e. more heat output. Modern hardware is designed to be used, including elevated heat levels, but if you feel that it's running too hot, consider lowering graphics settings.

Also, make sure you have good front-to-back airflow. That's the most important in an air-cooled PC.
I have a similar problem.
gtx 1070
i5 6400
16 Ram
The game generated a huge warm-up on my GPU. even games like The Witcher or Doom Eternal heat my GPU less, Borderlands with all the graphic options in Low, it warms my PC too much.
I don't understand what else I can do to solve it.
Did you fix it?

i fixed the solution. Installed the exhaust fan wrong. The warm air couldnt go out of the case.

Maybe uprade Case next. I mean 80 is nothing to worry about but even my 1080 stays at 67 max.

Maybe limit the FPS if the heat is your concern?

Intel chips only use one core that's why its running hot, you need to tell it to run all cores, look in the guides section on how to do this.

it's because of the game optimizations being total garbage. i have a pretty powerful setup for what it's worth, but it still starts to roar whenever i play.
Relic62 Apr 17, 2020 @ 7:45am
Yes it not optimised, but my rig never goes over 40 degree's, and my rig is not the latest but I am running an I7 with a Titan card and 16gb ram. I did what the guide said and it runs smoothly.

Do you have a side panel on your case? My old PC started having heat issues, so I just took it off and put a medium sized desk fan on it and it dropped my cpu temps 6-8C = another year before I had to upgrade to my current system.

Or...put a higher cfm/static pressure fan on your cooler (if you are runing air) and that will do wonders. I put a Scythe Gentle Typhoon fan on my Mugen 5 rev B and it dropped my cpu temps down by 6C at load...never gets over 65C now, even in BL3 (running my r2600 @ 4.1 and 1.35v).

The Typhoon is one of the best low noise/high cfm static pressure fans out there. Good luck!

The launch option "-useallavailablecores" seems to help. Instead one hot CPU core I got several midly warm ones.

Hmmmmm Thanks. I'll try limiting the FPS, even though I don't think it will work. I mean, I don't think that will impact much after everything I've tried. I just think it doesn't have a good game optimization. I have seen forums with this discussion so there is no more to do. thanks for answering

in what universe did you get that information? intel cpu´s use like a century all cores as efficient as the app allows it.

the times in which only one core works and the rest have like 10% workload are so long gone.

i heard many things from amd fanboys but your sentence is on the mental level of a console player saying his hardware is better than any high end pc...
