before you say beauty is subjective, beauty of someone can as well be determined in objective way if judgment of it is shared among general views in same polar. and lets admit it, tyreen, lorelei, moze, and amara, and others were deliberately made unattractive. im fine if gearbox with the new sjw appeaser direction it took introduced a hoard of female characters and filled them in important roles more than previous games. but at least they could have made them attractive. i believe in gender equality, but my eyes are not pleased if the npcs look like miscegenetic non-binary trans joining trump protest.

After the addition of Ellie, we thought they finally learned to create more ideal characters along her lines. Now there was a gorgeous addition.

I think that most of the girls you named are attractive, just not in stereotypical feminine forms of beauty. Not sure on this games specific design details for Tannis, and Tyreen is visually okay and not much more(lines are great tho).

But having girls who aren't attractive isn't exactly new to BL3. 2 introduced Ellie and that terrible "haircut" for Angel for example, and TPS had Zarpedon with those creepy Eridium colored glowing veins/growths all over her face.

Different people have different opinions about stuff. What you might find horribly ugly, someone else might find drop dead gorgeous, and vice versa. In this case, your opinions regarding what is/is not beautiful or attractive doesn't line up with the devs.

Honestly i'd prefer gearbox to avoid the boring pitfalls of Disney face. I love how varied the aesthetics and features of all the characters are in BL. All the characters they mentioned are gorgeous. OP sounds brain addled with their concluding sentence.

Of all the things to complain about (like the writing in terms of the execution of story elements), BL3's character designs are its best feature.

Moze awesome. Strong-willed, not shy about who she is. And though fully decked out Soldier turned merc. And then her eyes have that extra spiciness.

Angel was ok with how she viewed herself (at least before they changed her transmissions), but the in-person looked more like the haircut was because of some augmentation that Jack did. Least how I saw it. Sorry she didn't get a chance to grow with her freedom as that could have been interesting.

Tannis is more about efficient for her endeavours, not how she looks to others. Cracking that shell without becoming a disturbing insane genius yourself would be tricky per her moral compass with the broken needle. She seems to be going further down the rabbit hole in BL3, though she does recognize her social failings and can communicate that clearly (and interestingly without insulting those she feels are beneath her in IQ worth).

Tyreen...she speaks more to the current generation of Youtubers and Podcasters. Not my style, but I see where she would be good for some. As for looks, seems a bit "punk" to me, which could be fine if it weren't the personality.

So to the OP, you don't speak for the rest of us. You not liking them doesn't mean we have to agree with you.

a character should look attractive to play with .. but they don't need to look hot or beautiful to do so... at the end of the day it's not ♥♥♥♥,,, and people don't all look like every social media stereotypical beauty standard.

i think, this and that other thread complaining about how there are more females characters in the game (spoiler: nope, in fact there's a tad bit more males ingame, friendly npc or enemy npc), that if BL1 started out like BL3 (ie: having equal amounts of female and male characters, having female enemies (steele from BL1 was a major antagonist btw), having female leads, ♥♥♥ characters, etc etc.) people wouldn't even bother making these threads. there are other games with lots of female characters like overwatch, dota, etc. or games with prominent female characters like ff12, ff13, tomb raider, etc. and people aren't that mad about them being too-many/ugly/unattractive/too-good-looking/no-males etc. it if at all from what it seems.
