Stuck in Offline Mode :(

So I've been playing with my buddy before and all was fine until last night, when somehow my game just didn't want to go Online, When I try to Go Online through the Social tab, I get 'This feature requires all active players to be connected to Gearbox Software SHIFT'.

Surprisingly, it works FINE WITH A VPN ! (Laggy af)

Steps that ive tried:
1) Disabling firewall and antivirus
2) Restarted router (obv)
3) Port Forwarded (I think I did it right)
4) Enable UPnP
5) Enabled DMZ
6) Tried adding the ports to my router through File Explorer > Network
7) Link/Unlink my account through the SHIFT page
8) Verified game integrity

Used PFChecker on Borderlands 3 ports and it says my ports are open as well. Funny thing is both my friends who live about 10miles away are playing perfectly fine!

Edit* IT ONLY WORKS WITH A VPN. BUT IS LAGGY AF!

A friends is having the exact same problem. The strangest thing is... he is almost my neighbour, lives quite close by, and he can't connect anymore. So I find it hard to believe this is region-related problem or an ISP f*** up. We played 2 days ago, but since yesterday he had no luck connecting.

He also tried all those steps and submitted a ticket to Gearbox.

I don't get it because I was playing it fine the day before, and yesterday both my buddies who live nearby didn't have any issues :( But now it only connects if im using a VPN which also makes it laggy af.

This happened to me, it was because of windows built in antimalware ♥♥♥♥. Even after whitelisting the folders, and the process, it still happened. I had to totally turn it off to make it work correctly.

same here dude, this is gearbox problem not us. shift network is broke-offline ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Bump,

Im also getting this problem everyday and have tried all the 'Fix'. it only works once in awhile so its starting to piss me off :( bummed to know that im not the only one who has this problem.
