What opens the door? I want to solo it, and can't find any real answer on how to get past the door aside from matchmaking.

I have figured out that the door unlocks immediately after using the drop pod to get down to Eden-6.
I did this by literally checking on the door before and after every main story quest just after clearing the first vault.
