How do I really reset my game with ranks?
I started my 2nd class (Flak) and saw, that the guardian ranks have been saved.

Is there a way, to really reset my game like from first day I played it?

If you don't want the guardian ranks, turn them off. Or, just save the points, and don't put them on anything. I think those are your options.

Again, if you delete your profile save, everything is gone. You start, from square one. No loot. No money. No keybinds. No nothing. But again, once you beat the game again, you'll have the guardian rank.

Will that keep my ingame keyboard settings?

If you start a new character after beating the game, you have guardian rank.

If you don't want it, just turn it off. No need to delete anything.(unless your game is bugged)

I like to have full control of my games and be able to reset them. So the delete file option seems fine.

Will deleting the profile.sav keep my keyboard settings?

Deleting the profile will delete everything. Guardian ranks, game settings, etc. Though if cloud save is enabled, most times it will load your previous profile automatically unless disable it.

I understand wanting control. Why get rid of the guardian rank though? Are you going to delete the save every time you beat it to not get guardian rank?

I don't think it will keep your settings. I mean, it deletes everything tied to your profile...

Are you talking about your skill tree? Cause that can be 'reset'. But not your guardian rank. If you played BL2, think of the guardian rank as your BA rank. It's their across all characters.

It´s because at the beginning guardian ranks level relatively fast. Want that eventually back.

You probably dont want to reset your guardians ranks...really

What you should do is disable them for your new character...
You can even disable a particular bonus only

Just disable them if don't want them on another character. They are there, or gone otherwise. You choose to keep the file, or choose to lose it forever and make a new one. you can't delete them and want them back lol

also, Profile.sav also holds all your cosmetic unlocks etc. so, if you want to lose it all, as I stated, delete it. If you simply don't want guardian ranks for a new playthrough, go to the page in game and look down. Tells you what key to press to disable it.
