Finished game but Gigamind doesn’t respawn?

Title. He’s the only boss who doesn’t respawn for me. Is there something I did wrong?

Maybe a game update patched him out after story end? he was the easiest one to farm, just a guess

How do you normally respawn him? For me I leave and rejoin game.

Yup, exit & reload so you spawn in just outside his room. I’ve farmed him a lot to keep updating my Hellshock.

I’ve been trying that a few times but he never appears. Only time it worked is when I joined someone else’s game. Is my save file glitched?

That does sound bugged. What level & play through are you on? Were you playing solo or co-op the very first time you beat him?

Sounds like you're still on normal mode, and haven't enabled at least Mayhem 1.

That shouldn’t matter.

Here’s what I do on each new play through:
Beat Gigamind & turn in mission.
Travel to & land on Athenas
Travel back to Sanctuary III
Exit to menu & reload
Travel back to Meridian Metro, drive to & kill Gigamind
Exit to menu, reload, repeat

Note: you can only farm the red chest once/45 minutes (until you’ve beaten the game/Mayhem mode??)

No bosses seem to spawn in normal mode until you either beat the game fully or enable mayhem 1 at the very least. From what I've experienced at least. Third playthrough on another character, no bosses are respawning yet since not unlocked mayhem.

You shouldn't have to travel like that for the boss to respawn. You can simply log out, then log back in and go to his spot, boom he is there.

Here’s the weird thing, I’m playing on Mayhem 1 but Gigamind still doesn’t spawn for me. Am I doing something wrong?

When I get to his area and he’s not there I’d quit to the main menu and press continue game to head there again.

WOW, totally NOT from my experience.
I’ve farmed the following well before completing the story:
Gigamind
Captain Traunt
Aurelia(sp)
Katagowa Jr(sp)
Katagowa Ball(sp)
General Traunt
These are just from memory, prolly some I’m forgetting
All farmed with save/quit/reload. Again after starting next mission, Example to farm Captain Traunt you go to Skywell 27, then go back to Athenas (sometimes grab Ava’s mission), S/Q/R then run through to Traunt, & can farm literally until your inventory is full.
