The only problem is Spirituasl Driver mod drops only on MH4 but the build kinda works well enough for you to farm the mod. That is actually what I did.

I am only level 14 at this stage, this looks like a good build but like I said I am at a low level, my question to you what should I stack first to make this build work? should I start with brawl, mystical or fist tree? I feel like if I spend all my 14 points this early in the game on just fist of the elements this will not help me much. what do you reckon
I have currently reached Atlas and helping to defeat the bandits and mal corp

thank you for taking the time to help me guys.
Because during leveling you wont have enough points for a proper build anyway. That being said i think the grasp is really good for leveling as you can grab enemies that are in cover.
If you use the Class mod that creates a damage cloud this skill can delete badasses because it scales with the proc chance and damage of your currently equipped elemental weapon.
The game doesnt tell you this but i can recommend giving it a try.
I just never thought the phasegrasp will be used as a tool to buff other skills and elements for this siren rather than use it directly, in a lot of cases I am reading and watching videos of players using the phasergrasp as a tool.. never to use it against enemies rather miss using it on them. it is a lot of work and factors to put around just to give the siren her ultimate powers.. should have been easier than expected.. its like the game was not designed for this however it became a tactic for most experienced players to use the grasp as a miss-to-buff tool. a little disappointing
however you are saying I can use the phasegrasp directly to create a damage cloud? you mean that I will come across an attachment to add damage to my phase grasp?
Used mostly phaselock and upgrades
Had no real problem
Still, having played the other characters at least a bit, Amara is by far the hardest early
No pet to help, no lol invul mecha, no clone / drone to distract enemies...each and every enemy bullet is for her
But later, she scales very well
Vey high survavibility and great DPS
yea man I've been a siren player since day one. I just thought I should build the red tree more to learn it better, however at the same time for early game the red tree is most useless. the only advantage I can see in the phasegrasp is what Kazouie mentioned earlier as well, it can pull out enemies hiding behind barriers and make it easier to shoot them
the damage cloud is a class mod you can use with every skill, in combination with the grasp it holds the enemy inside the cloud which then can trigger status effects. Then you just need have a weapon with high elemental %chance equipped.
Using the failed grasps to trigger ASE anoints is obviously strong but doesnt feel like space magic to me. Hope you have fun

Right from the start, you have quite some big boosts to elemental damage and dots
Now, it pigeonholes you to elemental weapons (doesnt really change later either if you go red tree)
Phasegrasp and up dont really do damage, this is true
But it offers crowd control and free shots at dangerous targets...on a low cooldown
Can be used to trigger ASE to great effect too
For damage...you have guns anyway
Now, tankiness is in the green tree
The self revive is in green too...invaluable in solo
