Suggestions on a FUN level 30 Amara build? Or where to find one?

Yeah, I'm still leveling, the thing is that I'm not really enjoying Amara very much right at the moment.

I've been following this guide: https://progameguides.com/borderlands/bl3-amara-leveling-build-guide/ To give you some idea of what my current build looks like.

I dunno, her action skill just feels kind of lack luster to me, I figured maybe you guys might have some suggestions on what I should try differently?

I'm not really interested in min/maxing my character, I just want something fun to play with. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

What type of build are you attempting and/or do you have a fave skill: Slam, Grasp or Cast?

I don't really know, all I know is I'm not exactly enjoying the slam tree. I like shot guns and SMGs, medium range stuff. Anything good for medium range?

What's really nice is that her skill tree is very versatile and flexible. At level 30, you can't really take advantage of it all but can still be great fun to adventure with. I didn't start having a super blast with her until I reached around level 45 where I unlocked many more points to take advantage of her abilities. Of course, each person has a taste in how a character plays and works and if you don't like her maybe try out a different character. I personally dislike MOZE the most and stopped after level 12 haha. Anyways, I find AMARA a great character once you understand how to take advantage of her damage and elemental boosts.

Just switch to the red tree for an elemental gunner Amara

Later, with more points, fill in the green again to grab the tankyness goodies and the self revive...or experiment the blue tree
