yup, seen plenty from graveward, so can confirm.
You do realize that you min/max your gear until you get the perfect one for your build/playstyle. It was like this in 1, with the droprate. Some were good, others were bad. I remember farming New Heaven for hours getting multiple Pestilence Defilers till I found the right one. 2 was more grindy in that regard.
3 is getting close to a healthy blend between 1 and 2 in regards of scaling, grinding, and what not. Still has a way to go though.
For curiosities sake, did you have BA rank/luck modifiers or just running without them? atleast later on in the playthrough.
loaded dice can make quite the difference.
e.i. Binary Prefix on Maliwan Weapons. Anarchy Shotguns with at least x18, x20 preferred. Spooling Prefix on Projectile Recursion etc etc.
Junk ones with crap anointments. Does it have bonus damage on Phaseslam, Phasecast? 100% weapon damage on action skill end? etc.. If not, junk it, not worth keeping.
Those are the things you have to look out for. I know we got into a tiff before, but the difference between a weapon with good stats vs bad, and crap anointment vs great ones is MASSIVE. Talking 200%+ differences in damage. Something important to pay attention to once Mayhem 2.0 comes out.
if you're using fade away (stealth, auto crit on all shots, with a mod removing the shot limit for a shorter duration on fade away), then jakobs can melt entire rooms.
was so busted fl4k was the most played on release on epic.
Jakobs are still a solid choice, since fl4k has a fair number of skills that work off crits.
Fade away is just his biggest enabler for those, otherwise, fl4k doesn't specialize in any given weapon in a way like other classes.
