Weapon Slot missing

Due to a crash i missed the exact point in the story where my teammates got their 3rd weapon slot - And i can't get it back. Is there any way to do this after the fact?

If you missed the weapon unlock then go back in single player and turn in the mission.

Honestly though, the only way I know to fix it if the single player option doesn't work is to use a save editor.

My friend is also missing their third slot, but can't go back without starting a new character.
Do you know if it would work on TVH mode?

To clear this up, i went back into singleplayer with the same character and it automatically started at the last story mission i technically did not complete. It also offered me to skip all the missions in between that i _did_ complete in co-op, which was really nice. As soon as i finished the necessary mission properly, i got my 3rd weapon slot back.
