Anyone care to share their build on Amara? I am still pretty new to this game, not sure which to level up early game.

Amara is difficult to play early game. I suggest you look at a guide on youtube. There are a couple of specific builds to make her less squishy.

Whatever tree you're going with, make sure that by the endgame you'll have anointed guns. IMO she has the strongest anointed effects in the game. For her green (melee) tree she gets +300 damage and for her blue (phasecast) three it's +250 damage afer using action skill.
Also i don't recoment going deep into the red tree - it's the best for mobbing but does nothing against bosses + phasegrasp anointments are the worst.
They are available at Crazy Earl's vending machine. Can as well be farmed from some easy bosses like Graveward in Mayhem mode. And don't forget anointed grenades and shields that add +50% of a specific element for a short period after using action skill.
